The not so short version :

I started my professional life selling leather and silk items to tourists on the streets of Florence, Italy. There I learned first hand about fashion and retail while pursuing an informal education in art history through Europe, I also got exposed to industrial design and bespoke shoemaking.

I returned to my native Mexico after a few years to complete a degree in economics and joined a multinational bank where I worked at the trading desk and research departments. I left after finding the pay great but the work disheartening.

I immigrated to the United States to pursue a career in technology while improving my design skills. Along with design, technology has always been a passion and interest. I wrote my first computer program at the age of 11 and haven't stopped since.

I believe technology,the changing consumer and monetary & resource demands are all connected to design; while Art, style and Innovation are the main drivers behind my work, my experience in other fields complements it.
